Shy Ky is an EDM music producer and DJ carving his own lane in the drum and bass scene with an experimental edge. Known for tracks like “Gutter Bass” and “Miss The Rave,” as well as genre-bending remixes of Shaggy’s “It Wasn’t Me” and Just John’s “Just Let Go,” his sound blends nostalgic rave energy with modern, unpredictable twists. Growing up surrounded by ‘90s dance anthems from artists like Alice DJ and Danny Bryd, he fell in love with EDM in the late 2000s through names like Skrillex, Pendulum, and Wolfgang Gartner. That early obsession with sound design led him to start producing in 2015—first on GarageBand, then transitioning into Ableton in 2016 with a MIDI controller in hand. Originally creating lo-fi hip hop under the alias Vezze, he rebranded in 2019 and dove headfirst into electronic music.

Shy Ky’s music is a melting pot of influences—from the gritty textures of Delta Heavy and the melodic grooves of San Holo to the funk of Kool & The Gang and the raw energy of SuicideBoys. His style sits somewhere between liquid and neuro DnB, with glitched-out breaks, heavy basslines, and shimmering synth layers that all carry his signature emotional weight.
